Barcelona began their 2020-21 LaLiga campaign with a comfortable victory against Villarreal at Camp Nou on Sunday evening.

Ansu Fati notched a brace in Ronald Koeman's first league game in charge, while Lionel Messi also netted from the penalty spot against Unai Emery's side.

Pau Torres later scored an own goal as Barcelona made a strong start to their bid to regain the title they lost to Real Madrid last term.

Prediction: Barcelona 1-0 Villarreal

Though Barcelona have endured a turbulent summer after a difficult end to last season, it's difficult to look past a home win.

Indeed, there may still be unrest within the squad, with Messi publicly criticising the club for "throwing" Luis Suarez out and into the hands of rivals Atletico Madrid.

However, with Messi still in the team - and Koeman looking for his first Barca win - I'm expecting a narrow home win.
