The latest phase of Royal Eden Docks in E16 is The Wellspring, a 796-home Mount Anvil development that “incorporates nature in its architecture”.

Located around the river bend from Canary Wharf and less than 100 metres from the water’s edge, its green credentials are enhanced by communal gardens, outdoor exercise areas and planted rooftops, one with a spectacular running track and “reflexology walkway”.

There is also a residents-only swimming pool and spa.

Healthy lifestyles are being promoted by green transport options including 1,000 cycle storage spaces, electric car charging points and car club membership.

The smart, brick-clad building has been designed by renowned global skyscraper architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Apartments cost from £357,000. Call Mount Anvil on 020 3944 8648.
