Love Island fans will instantly recognise this luxury villa as Casa Amor, the infamous abode where last years' male contestants were led away and tempted to stray by a group of attractive new arrivals in bikinis.

Whether this four-bedroom Mallorca pad will feature in the series again remains to be seen — rumour has it the producers may have opted for a different property this year to keep the show fresh.

But any fans of the hit ITV2 show who hoped to own it are in for a chance, as it is on sale for £2.44m (€2.75m).

Hidden away behind security gates near the postcard-perfect village of Sant Llorenç de Cardassar, the dream home is a peaceful paradise for sun worshippers, with a 14-metre swimming pool, manicured lawns, a massage and yoga area and plenty of terraces on which to top up your tan.

It is hugged by fabulously fragrant lemon and orange trees, while rosemary and oleander hedges add to the olfactory delights hanging on the Mediterranean breeze.

Bougainvillea, cypress trees and olive trees line the long driveway.

Should you fancy replicating Megan and Eyal’s winetasting date, Casa Amor also has its own vineyard — just maybe leave the awkward grape feeding to them.

Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the 4,800sq ft of living space with light, with sliding glass panels opening onto the pool area.

There is stone flooring throughout, which can be heated during the chillier months, and the modern open flame gas fire will also be a blessing when the mercury drops.

Pack your suitcase: Casa Amor has been thoughtfully designed for year-round living

The designer Boffi kitchen is a highlight, boasting top-of-the-range fixtures and fittings, while coloured ceiling lights help make this place a party palace.

Each of the spacious bedrooms features artwork by Helmet Newton and has its own en-suite bathroom.

The huge windows can again be slid away to let the outside in and ensure you don’t miss a second of the glorious Spanish sunshine.

Upstairs, the master suite has two private balconies and an open-plan bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower.

Soak it up: the master suite boasts an open-plan bathroom with countryside views

Two large roof terraces are also on this floor, offering stunning views of the surrounding rural countryside and mountains.

Designed by renowned Mallorcan architect Andrau Bennassar, Casa Amor is eco-friendly with electricity generated by solar panels and its own well in the garden.

Current owner David Heeley describes his home as “cool, chic and decadent” and Knight Frank estate agents points out how close the “immaculately designed modern home” is to four golf courses and some of the best beaches on the island.

It might be time to put all your eggs in one basket.
