London's largest event for first-time buyers, The London Home Show, is taking place on Saturday March 3, with a focus on shared-ownership and Help to Buy.

More than 4,000 visitors are expected to attend the free exhibition at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster.

It is being hosted by Share To Buy, an online portal for shared ownership properties.

Independent mortgage advisers and conveyancing solicitors will be offering financial and legal advice.

"We are delighted to be hosting our tenth London Home Show, which is set to be the biggest show to date," says Nick Lieb, head of operations for Share To Buy.

Aspiring home owners are also invited to a separate Colliers International Help-to-Buy event on Friday, February 23 from 3pm to 7pm;and Saturday, February 24 from 10am to 4pm.

They will be showcasing a range of Help to Buy properties available in London, with seminars on both days on how to finance your home with Help to Buy.
