If you’re super-rich, why settle for an estate with one grand house and perhaps a guesthouse or two when you could buy an entire Swedish spa village for £5.6 million?

On the outskirts of Stockholm, Sätra Brunn is all about wellness – and the whole place is on the market.

Established as a spa in 1700 by a doctor who believed in the health benefits of its natural mineral spring, the 60-acre village comes with 70 buildings including a church and a day care facility.

There’s also a hotel and a restaurant, operated through long-term leases.

The town has several parks and the population, at the last available count, was 335.

There is even a bottling operation in place for international marketing of the local spring water, from one of only seven springs awarded Sweden’s highest classification for purity.

This rather remarkable package is listed with Christie’s International Real Estate.

The village and all the property is registered as a limited company, so there are no restrictions for foreign buyers, according to Jonas Martinsson of Residence Fastighetsmäkleri, an affiliate of Christie’s in Sweden.
