When the international break is over at the end of this week, attention in Spain will soon turn to the Clasico: Barcelona vs Real Madrid.

The two Spanish giants meet in La Liga at Camp Nou at 13:00 CET on Saturday, October 26 in the 10th round of the competition and if things stay as they are at the moment, the fixture will decide which of the rivals will top the table at the end of that weekend.

But before the season's first Clasico takes place, both Barcelona and Real Madrid are busy with two games apiece in the lead-up to the famous fixture.

Barca return to action in La Liga on Saturday with a trip to Eibar in La Liga at 13:00 CET on Saturday, with the Catalans then away to Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Wednesday, October 23 at 21:00 CET.

Madrid, meanwhile, travel to Mallorca in La Liga for a late game at 21:00 CET on Saturday, before a visit to Turkey for a meeting with Galatasaray on Tuesday, October 22 at 21:00 CET.

That means Los Blancos will have an extra day to rest ahead of the Clasico on the following Saturday, although the journey to Istanbul is also longer than Barca's trip to Prague.

Barcelona and Real Madrid met in four fixtures last season (two in La Liga and two in the Copa del Rey), with the Catalans winning three of those and the other a draw.

The teams' league clash at Camp Nou also took place in late October and ended in a 5-1 win for the Blaugrana, which led to the dismissal of Julen Lopetegui as Madrid coach.

Madrid currently lead La Liga with 18 points from their eight games, with Barca two back in second place.
