Simon Cowell has bought this Malibu estate for £18.4 million.
The music mogul, whose boyband Rak-Su took the X Factor crown at the weekend, purchased the 10,000sq ft seven-bedroom home overlooking the ocean from his friend, Las Vegas Sun publisher Brian Greenspun.
Cowell’s main base is in Holland Park and he has an £11 million house in Beverly Hills.
With tennis court and pool, the new place will be a holiday home for Cowell, partner Lauren Silverman and son Eric, three.
