Football legend Sir Bobby Charlton, a member of the 1966 World-Cup-winning England team, has sold his five-bedroom beachside home in Anglesey, off the coast of north-west Wales.

Next to sandy Llanddona beach and the spectacular Anglesey coast path, the cottage was a holiday retreat for Sir Bobby and wife Norma for more than 40 years.

They recently modernised and extended it, before it was snapped up within a week for £585,000.
