Prepare to be charmed: Rose McGowan need look no further for a Mayfair pied-à-terre

Rose McGowan is house hunting in London and we may have found her the perfect pied-à-terre.

The former Charmed actress and women’s rights activist, who has been at the forefront of the #MeToo movement, sold her £1.5 million home in LA to pay her legal bills against former film producer Harvey Weinstein, who she claims raped her in 1997. She is one of several women to accuse him of rape. He denies all allegations of non-consensual sex.

McGowan, 45, has since moved to the UK and is renting a flat in Mayfair. She is building up quite a community here, modelling for British designer Nicholas Kirkwood’s SS19 London Fashion Week show last weekend.

A recently renovated one-bedroom flat is for sale close to her current rental home, with a guide price of £885,000 through Dexters. Near the Opera and Beaux Arts Galleries, this small but smart flat is in the thick of the action and would be a fab first rung on the London property ladder.
