Prince Charles was a regular at The Pink Geranium restaurant in Royston, Herts, when at Cambridge — not exactly the student canteen.

The renowned restaurant, which also welcomed Pierce Brosnan, Rod Stewart, Alison Moyet and Ruby Wax, closed five years ago and the 17th-century property became a five-bedroom thatched home packed with period charm.

It’s for sale with TuckerGardner at £1,195,000.

Trains from nearby Meldreth station reach King’s Cross in under 45 minutes.
