Ex-England football captain John Terry has bought his fifth property, a Surrey mansion, for £4.35 million.

Terry and wife Toni are building up their portfolio, focusing on Cobham, near his former club Chelsea’s training ground.

The fully restored seven-bedroom 18th-century country house in eight acres has a grand entrance hall with Georgian fireplace and a curved staircase.

There’s a three-bedroom annexe, office space, a garage, party barn, wine storage, stables, a pool and a tennis court.
