With design inspired by No 10 Downing Street, The Grande House in St James’s is on the market with Savills for an eye-watering £25 million.

With planning permission to turn a Sixties office block into a “premier London address and visual icon”, SHH Architecture & Interior Design used black brick and charcoal-coloured zinc to achieve the exterior look.

Inside is a clubroom and bar, a cinema, spa, sky lounge with retractable roof and a lift to all floors.

It’s in shoppers’ paradise, with Bond Street, Burlington Arcade and Fortnums all on the doorstep.
