Heading in One Direction: Liam Payne lists California estate for sale for £9.8 million while he renovates Surrey home

Liam Payne is selling the mansion he bought when he was with ex-girlfriend Cheryl.

The California estate in the rugged mountains between Calabasas and Malibu is on the market for £9.8 million.

The One Direction singer previously listed it for £757,000 more but has dropped the asking price. The property is also up for rent at £30,000 a month.

Payne, 25, pictured below with pop star Cheryl, 35, with whom he has a son, Bear, who will be two later this month, bought the place in 2015 for £7.5 million.

It has five bedrooms, two guesthouses in the grounds and a fitness outbuilding.

Meanwhile, Payne was spotted leaving the Manhattan home of his rumoured girlfriend, British supermodel Naomi Campbell, 48.

Payne is also renovating his £5.1 million home in Woking, Surrey, with a view to spending more time back in the UK.
