Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been told he can’t put up family and friends in two “cabins” in his Wandsworth back garden.

Gordon and wife Tana, who welcomed fifth child Oscar into the world in April, reportedly wanted to splash out £80,000 on a pair of the luxury sheds, which each come with a kitchen, double bed, heating and a shower, so their visitors could enjoy peace and quiet.

However, Wandsworth council has informed the couple that their plans are not acceptable because they have not included a tree survey.

Once the relevant paperwork is complete and if their application then succeeds, the Ramsays could follow in the footsteps of their close pals, David and Victoria Beckham, who installed a £14,000 sauna, steam room and relaxation room in the garden at their Cotswolds home in December.
