Children’s author and Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams has sold his three-bedroom home in Belsize Park, north-west London, collecting a very handsome profit.

The actor and comedian bought the five-storey house 14 years ago for £3.25 million and has sold for £5.35 million.

Owned in the Nineties by then-Oasis singer Noel Gallagher, it was known as Supernova Heights and saw many a rock’n’roll party.

Walliams set about remodelling it, creating double- and triple-storey spaces, restoring the façade and adding a fabulous roof terrace.

He lived there with Dutch supermodel Lara Stone and their son Alfred, but decided to move when the marriage ended.
