Taylor Swift fans are notoriously devoted to the pop singer - and they know "all too well" about what she went through when she broke up with actor Jake Gyllenhaal a decade ago.

After Gyllenhaal posted a photo of himself on Instagram wearing his glasses as a child, Swift's super fans began commenting on his post with lyrics from her song 'All Too Well' - which is believed to refer to him.

Many quoted her lyrics directly and wrote, “You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin sized bed."

One person wrote, "i’ll be honest mate you set yourself up for this one" while another wrote, "all i hear is all too well when i look at this."

It doesn't seem like her fans have quite forgiven him yet, although their short-term relationship and subsequent breakup did lead to one of the best musical bridges of all time.

While the photo was for a good cause - it was to promote a partnership with New Eyes for the Needy, an organization that buys prescription glasses for people who can't afford them - some people were not impressed.

One savvy commenter wrote, “Give taylor swift her scarf back,” referencing a scarf that he supposedly kept long after they broke up. Hopefully, he doesn't post a picture with the scarf next.
