Since we introduced the interiors hashtag #myhomeforhp in July, we've been blown away by the snaps of your stylish homes on Instagram.

1. DARK DECOR
Instagrammer @hilaryandflo was a clear winner for our 'dark decor' challenge we launched in October, just in time for Halloween.
The inky blue walls and matching kitchen cupboards paired with retro-inspired patterned floor tiles look fantastic against the classic oak work surfaces.

2. MONOCHROME
Monochrome is a trend that comes back year after year so it can be hard to give it a fresh new spin. We loved how @grillodesigns offered something a little different from the norfm with her two-tone painted wall and monochrone accessories.
Our favourites included the upcycled chest of drawers and cool London street sign.

3. HOUSEPLANTS
Housplants became a hipster must-have home accessory in 2017, emerging as one of the hottest interior trends to introduce into your home.
The trick is to place them at different levels around a room for maximum effect. We were green with envy at @bealach_uige_bothy's collection as they worked so well next to wicker accessories.

Well we have had a lovely chilled family day. Long lie, playing with toys, watched Titanic for the millionth time, had a lovely roast dinner and lovely friends to visit. 💖 This is the first room we painted dark back in May. If i am honest it took about 4 weeks before i went into it. Was really unsure how to style it. Both kids also hated it which didn’t help. But after faffing about and picking up all the furniture for pennies. (One of the cushions cost more than the furniture!) We now all love it. There is no tv in the room. I love the peace and can be found on this chair which i picked up for £10 along with the sidetable. The plants are all faux from @abigailahern and @debenhams. Now to get organised for Monday before strictly. 4. PEACEFUL PLACE
We all have that spot in our house where we like to relax and forget about the stresses of everyday life.
The winner of our 'peaceful place' challenge was @stylingyorkpretty thanks to her on-trend parquet flooring, cosy log burner and exposed brick wall.

5. CREATIVE LIGHTING
October saw the clocks go forward so we asked our followers to show off their creative lighting.
@Daniellellp proved that disco balls aren't just for weekend parties. It showers her kitchen and dining room with pretty flecks of light every time the sun shines through the window.

First time renovator @doer.upper showed she has an eye for pretty metallics. This gold Great Gatsby-inspired ceiling light is the perfect statement piece and fits in great with the rest of the vintage vibe.

Tropics proved to be one of 2017's biggest trends with palm leaves, flamingos and cacti all making an appearance. @Comedowntothewoods showcased her pink and green tropical feature wall in November to help celebrate National Wallpaper Week. Paired with a saucy plant pot and gorgeous velvet statement chair, it gave us house envy.

8. JUNGLE FEVER
An array of different colours really help @patirobins' bedroom pack a punch. The dark and moody walls are brightened up with a vibrant burnt orange and we loved the touch of greenery which is why we announced it the winner of our 'jungle fever' challenge.
