High street giant Next has joined forces with Alex Stedman, the author behind The Frugality blog, to bring out their first ever interiors edit, just in time for to make your home cosy and inviting for the festive season.

Alex has been writing her hugely successful blog since 2012 and has shared her tips on finding budget buys and salvaged furniture while spending several years doing up a north London wreck with her husband Chris.

Renovating on strict budget, Alex is a fan of picking up affordable art for her gallery wall from student art shows and car boot sales.

Focusing on underused corners of the home, the edit — which has been styled in Alex's own home — showcases everything from luxurious statement velvet chairs to Art Deco-inspired lighting and clever ideas for storage.
