Interiors fans planning their own makeover projects have the perfect place to head to for inspiration and ideas as home renovation and design experts Houzz are taking over a two-storey warehouse in London for 10 days.

Across both floors of a former Victorian tannery in Bermondsey, eight rooms will showcase a range of interiors looks, with the design focused on answering the needs and priorities of various homeowners and renters.

Nine interior design experts have been tasked with styling the rooms to suit all budgets, from creating a functional modern family pad to a cool millennial flatshare, and everything will be shoppable.

Takeover: the two-storey warehouse in Tanner Street is being transformed into eight interior designed-rooms, free to explore

Bedrooms

Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead of 2LG Studio are designing a bedroom with a professional couple in mind who love to travel. "The space is quite long but we zoned it to make a bold statement of the bed by the window and give space for a breakout chill space, for reading with a nightcap before bed," says Russell.

Elsewhere in the warehouse pop-up, Brooke Copp-Barton will showcase 'The Perfect Masculine Retreat', while a chic children's room for two sisters, aged six and eight, has been created by blogger and stylist Dee Campling (@Deecampling).

Living rooms and flexible spaces

Simone Gordon and Sophie Van Winden of Owl Design will create a space for two thirty-something female flatmates, called 'The Millennial Flatshare', using a palette of burnt oranges, dusky pinks and burgundy, paired with rattan and velvet textures.

There is also a contemporary, 'eclectic-meets-Scandi' room styled as a 'Modern Family Pad' by the in-house design team at Hostmaker, a living room for a single woman in her forties who loves relaxed nights in and a space where a couple in their fifties with two teenage children can 'switch off'. Designers Clare Gaskin and Brian Woulfe, of Designed by Woulfe, say they have channelled a Mid-Century vibe in their room.

'The City Dweller's Abode' has been created by Shanade McAllister-Fisher, with a single woman in her 30s who oftens works from home in mind.
