Geometric prints provide the perfect balance between modern and vintage, with a nod to Art Deco styling here, mixed with a futuristic bold touch there.
Even better, geometrics can be used to add interest to a minimalist interior — think Scandi-inspired furniture — or to add an Op Art-style maximalist statement, depending on your home decor bent.

"Our users have not only been searching for geometric inspiration more frequently over the past year, but have also been incorporating lively geometrics into their interiors."
While geometrics have an enduring appeal, Harrison pinpoints three key ways people are embracing the trend in 2018.
"We’re noticing hexagonal-shaped tiles in particular on the rise, along with clever colour-blocking techniques which use masking tape to create fun architectural shapes.
"Home accessories combining geometric patterns with the trend for black edges are a popular way that Houzzers are experimenting with Art Deco glamour."
