Famous Israeli-British chef Yotam Ottolenghi already owns several delis and restaurants across the capital and is the author of seven best-selling cookbooks.

Now, this celebrated foodie is branching out into interiors with a new luxury table collection featuring tea towels, napkins and limited edition table cloths.

Table napkins and tea towels can be found online now, while the rest of the collection is launching on October 15.

And of course, as this is an Ottolenghi collection, this is not just any table linen collection. Created by artist and longtime collaborator Ivo Bisignano, the linen has been produced using traditional weaving methods in the northern Italian town of Bergamo and is hand-painted.

“The hand painted 'O' brings art to the table, as well as signalling the shared table culture we believe in, which we hope to bring to your home with this elegant and playful range,” he says.

Starting from £20 per linen napkin, choose from red, indigo, saffron or green colourways. The tablecloths, available in a neutral grey and inky blue and priced from £220, feature a series of 'O's running down the centre to help create a table runner effect (as above).

The tea towels are also embellished and are priced from £24.

There is also a Christmas collection to come in November, with a rich indigo, decadent gold and white colour scheme. The special collection starts from £25 for a table napkin.
