From September 14 to September 27, homeware giant Argos is opening its first ever consumer Home pop-up shop in the capital.

Popping up on New Oxford Street, customers will get the chance to see the brand's new autumn/winter collections as the venue is transformed into an interactive 'home full of life'.

For two weeks visitors will also get the chance to try their hand at a wide range of workshops.

You can even learn how to impress your social media followers by creating the perfect shelfie (an artfully styled shelf) with expert Martha Roberts.

Those with green fingers can enjoy terrarium making classes from Jar and Fern.

Take a trip back into yesteryear with a macramé workshop. Explore the knotting technique to create your own plant hanger to show off succulents and cacti.

Alternatively, create something unique for your home with a candle-monogramming class with artist and illustrator Tom Scotcher.

Get some early inspiration for Christmas with a screen printing workshop with Jo Dean from The House That Print Built. You'll learn how to design your own prints for tea towels and napkins.

It's not just an event for grown-ups, little ones can embrace their inner Picasso and design and print their own tote bag.

Finally, for those keen to update their Instagram game, a workshop is planned to teach techniques for setting up perfect portrait shots to capture family moments.

Find the Argos pop up at 63-69 New Oxford Street, London, WC1A 1DG. Tickets for workshops can be booked here.
