Foodie gifts for are a fun and easy way to give family and friends a personalised and thoughtful gift at Christmas. So we have rounded up our favourite gifts for the festive season and beyond.

For chocolate lovers

No festive season is complete without a tin of nostalgic Quality Street chocolates to bicker over.

Now you can personalise a tin in-store for £15. John Lewis members can choose to fill the tin entirely with their favourites, from The Purple One to Green Triangles — or mix it up by adding this year's limited edition Chocolate Caramel Brownie flavour.

No Christmas is complete without a tin of Quality Street. Personalise your own tin in store with up to nine characters. John Lewis members can choose to fill the tin with just one flavour.

Subscription gifts that keep on giving

Subscription services are a fabulous way to keep treating someone long beyond Christmas. The Cheese Geek has introduced a specialist box, starting at £29.50 a month. Sent to your chosen recipient for at least three months, each box contains different cheeses from across the UK with a no-cheese-repeat guarantee within 12 months. The selection includes family favourites along with lesser known alternatives. Vegetarian-friendly alternatives are also available.

For £29.95, Hundred House Coffee also offers a three-month subscription gift of ground or whole beans. The brand features a non-profit programme via their sales which focuses on delivering design projects in inner city schools.

Cook book hampers with ingredients to match

Indian restaurant Dishoom is famous throughout the capital for its crowd-pleasing house black dal recipe and now the restaurant's new cookbook gives you the chance to recreate it at home.

Be warned, however, this comforting vegetarian dish takes more than four hours to make — but it's worth it.

For plant-based foodies, restaurant Farmacy, founded by Camilla Fayed, has released a book to enjoy the recipes you already love.

Alongside delicious recipes such as plant-based burgers, cauliflower nuggets and Thai curries, you'll also find guidance for making body washes, toothpaste and face masks.

Belazu, which specialises in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern ingredients, has introduced new hampers which come with a cookbook and the store cupboard essentials needed to get you started straight away.

We love the version with Ben Tish's gorgeous book Moorish. A former veteran of the London-based Salt Yard restaurant group, Ben Tish has written three cookbooks. Included in this bundle is Tish's delicious rose harissa roasted cauliflower and stuffed aubergines with preserved lemons.
