Best in show: London Design Festival 2012

Here's our pick of the new ideas from the London Design Festival, which unleashed stunning and innovative homeware for the autumn. We chose our favourites from the shows — from winged door handles and striped basins to the cutting edge in lamps, cushions, wallpapers and dazzling rugs.

Brightly coloured chairs and tables launched by Anthony Hartley at Tent London are made from panels of coloured birch ply, held together with cable ties. Chairs £195; table £395 (07758 779183; anthonyhartley.com).
