We would like to add an ironwork veranda to our early-19th-century farmhouse, which is not listed. Who can supply one in the correct style?

Architect Richard Crook at John D Clarke Architects in Eastbourne, 01323 411506, johndclarkeandpartners.co.uk, is experienced in advising on designs for a project such as this, as well as commissioning an agreed design from architectural castings specialists Barr & Grosvenor, 01902 352390. Verandas of this period often had clusters of cast iron columns with a curved zinc canopy. Send the company photographs of the elevation with measurements for a price estimate. If accepted, that would be followed by a site visit.

Tell us how the room is to be used, giving dimensions, plus the number of windows and which direction they face. List any furnishings you wish to retain, and supply swatches or colour references for fabrics. Outline any particular preferences or dislikes you have in terms of colour, style or pattern.
Are there children or pets to be considered? Provide a budget for any furnishings that you wish to replace.
