Sitting along the Mediterranean coast, bordered by the River Rhône to the west and the Côte d’Azur to the east, Provence is France's biggest rosé-producing region. Its hot, sun-drenched summers and cool, dry evenings create the ideal conditions for vines to flourish. Provençal rosé is mainly composed of varying amounts of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre grapes.
A chilled glass of rosé or two is the perfect accompaniment to salads and grilled seafood, while the more robust blends can hold their own with meaty dishes such as beef carpaccio and steak tartare.
