Cinema group Curzon has teamed up with Uber Eats to deliver the ultimate movie night feast, aiming to help bring the cinema into your living room.

From Saturday, film lovers will be able to order a “home cinema bundle” from Curzon via the food delivery app, which will include Curzon’s own sweet popcorn, a gourmet hot dog in a brioche bun topped with crispy onions, movie snacks including honeycomb bites and a salt and pepper nut mix, and a Bordeaux cask-aged negroni slushie.

The movie night kit will also include a cup holder cushion to prevent tension-ruining drink spillages, and a door sign politely reminding viewers to turn their mobile phones off while watching the film. The kit is worth £35, but can be purchased for the price of just the £3.50 delivery fee when using the code "HOMECINEMA".

Each order also comes with a voucher for 50 per cent off a film in the In Cinemas Now section of Curzon Home Cinema, the group’s online movie streaming platform which has seen a 380 per cent increase in users since the lockdown.

Films in the subsection start at £7.99, and include the likes of Portrait of a Lady on Fire and The Truth starring Catherine Deneuve, Juliette Binoche and Ethan Hawke.

Championing international and independent films, the wider site currently hosts the likes of The Chambermaid, Burning and There Will Be Blood, and is set to welcome Fox News-inspired drama Bombshell from May 18 as well as history-making Oscar winner Parasite from June 1.

The Curzon Home Cinema Bundle costs £3.50 and is available via Uber Eats
