With the release of the Marvel's Avengers video game coming soon, Fortnite players on PS4 and Xbox can get some Hulk-themed exclusive items.
For a limited time, you can get yourself the Hulk Smashers pickaxe and bonus Hulkbuster style if you complete certain HARM challenges on your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
The Marvel Avengers beta will be available for download on both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store beginning August 7, which is the earliest you can play if you pre-order the game.
You can only earn these rewards by taking part in the Marvel Avengers closed Beta
Here’s the full Beta schedule:
If you preorder Marvel's Avengers on PS4, you can begin playing the closed beta between August 7-9.
The next available time you can play the game on PS4 will be during the open beta, which will take place between August 14-16.
If you preordered the game on Xbox One, this is when the beta will also be available for you, with the open beta unlocking August 14-16.
Finally, there will be a final open beta phase near the end of August for both consoles, taking place August 21-23, regardless of if you've preordered Marvel Avengers.
How to claim and unlock Avengers rewards in Fortnite:
During the playable beta testing, you will have to complete three HARM challenges in Marvel Avengers.
You will also need to make sure your console, Epic Games and Square Enix accounts are all linked.
First, make sure your PlayStation or Xbox Live account is linked to your Epic Games account. Next, you will then need to visit the Square Enix website and link your Epic Games account.
Remember, the final Marvel’s Avengers Beta ends on August 23. We don’t want to see you get angry, so make sure to complete the Beta and HARM Challenges before it’s too late.
Can’t join the beta? The Hulk Smashers Pickaxe and bonus Hulkbuster style items will become available in the Fortnite Item Shop at a later date.
