Katie Price will be back on our screens next month with an hour-long special of her reality series, My Crazy Life.

The new episode will take an honest and candid look at the 41-year-old being admitted for treatment at the Priory for post-traumatic stress disorder following a breakdown.

The previous few years have been especially hard on the glamour model, as she split up with her fitness trainer boyfriend Kris Boyson and was declared bankrupt.

Speaking to her mother Amy and her close friend Rick, Price will explain her reasons for returning to rehab, before making another fresh start – moving out of her infamous ‘mucky mansion’ and to a brand new home.

While things start to look up for the Pricey, as she gives a make-up tutorial up in Newcastle and performs in the French Alps, the coronavirus pandemic sets in – Price is forced to self-isolate, separated from her children and her mum, who has terminal lung disease.

Price has recently spoken out with how she’s struggled with lockdown, staying with her eldest son Harvey, 17, who is partially blind and suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome.

With Harvey particularly vulnerable to Covid-19, Katie’s other children - Junior, 14, Princess, 12, Jett, six, and Bunny, five - are living with their fathers Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler during the health crisis.

Speaking to new! Magazine, she explained: “Harvey is one of those who are at a high risk of dying if they get it, so I haven’t been able to see my other kids.

"It’s hard, but I’ve got FaceTime. In that respect I’m struggling – it’s been a month since I’ve seen them. But I can’t risk Harvey.

“My mum is dying and the last time I saw her was two weeks ago. I couldn’t even go in the house. I was in the garden and she was in the conservatory.”

However, Price is remaining as positive as possible, cooking meals for herself and Harvey and even joking about heading onto Celebrity Masterchef after lockdown.

“Cooking is something to keep us all focused and upbeat in lockdown,” she told The Sun.

"Getting home cooked food is key in supporting your own bodies immune system - it’s a win/win situation.

"I would love to be invited to do Celebrity Bake Off, or Celebrity Masterchef - it makes me hungry just watching it!”

Katie Price: My Crazy Life premieres at 10pm Monday May 4 exclusively on Quest Red and dplay.
