Ks off on Trophy trail

Andy Macmorrin13 April 2012

Kingstonian, one of only two non-League teams left in the FA Cup, begin their defence of the FA Trophy tomorrow when they visit Ryman League Staines in the third round.

The Conference side, who beat Southend in the FA Cup third round last Saturday, have won the Trophy for the past two seasons under Geoff Chapple, the most successful manager in the competition's history.

Chapple has managed the winners of the Trophy in five out of the past seven seasons.

The other FA Cup headline-makers Dagenham & Redbridge, who earned a third round replay with Charlton, are at home to Dr Martens League Weymouth.
