Jamie Vardy leads search for England's Euro 2016 celebration

England internationals Jamie Vardy and Chris Smalling have teamed up with Robbie Fowler to hold a Britain’s Got Talent-style competition aimed at finding the best goal celebration ahead of the European Championships this summer.

The competition, hosted by Reggie Yates, is a part of England sponsor Vauxhall Motors’ #GetIN campaign and was set up to find an iconic celebration that the public can use to show their support for Roy Hodgson's team at this summer’s tournament.

Vardy said: "I thought lots of the acts were really talented. I used to actually watch all the break dancing competitions and the battle offs so I had a lot of time for Philip’s breakdance routine. Definitely a bit of me that.”

Entrants’ celebrations included dancing, contortionism, Michael Jackson impressions and even yodelling.

The Premier League judges ranked each contestant’s efforts out of 10 and gave their highest score, 26, to Philip Mark Prescott and his break dancing celebration.

Similar competitions have also been held for teams of other nations with Aaron Ramsey, Joe Ledley and Chris Gunter judging entrants for Wales and Stuart Dallas, Gareth McAuley and Corry Evans judging entrants from Northern Ireland.
