Harry faces Portsmouth showdown

Southampton manager Harry Redknapp was thrown into an FA Cup showdown with his former club Portsmouth today, just a few weeks after leaving Fratton Park in controversy.

The South Coast derby at St Mary's Stadium is the pick of the fourth-round matches, due to be played on 28, 29 and 30 January.

Oldham face Bolton, giving them the chance to knock out another Premiership side at home following their third-round upset of Manchester City at the weekend.

Exeter City, who drew 0-0 with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, will play Middlesbrough if they can somehow get past the Cup holders in their replay next week.

But the spotlight will be on former West Ham boss Redknapp, who quit Portsmouth under a cloud last month after more than two years at Pompey. Within days he was appointed manager at Portsmouth's bitter rivals.

Redknapp and Portsmouth owner Milan Mandaric both played down the feud today.

Redknapp said: "I've still got a lot of friends at the club and they know exactly what I did and the legacy I have left. I suppose there's always a certain element who are going to cause problems. Let them get on with it and see what happens."

And Mandaric added: "We will have a professional approach and treat each other the way we deserve to be treated."

Arsenal will play Wolves, now coached by former Tottenham player and manager Glenn Hoddle, while Chelsea face an-all Premiership tie with Birmingham City.

Spurs will take on manager Martin Jol's former club, West Brom, but Charlton were given a home clash with traditional giant-killers Yeovil from League Two.

West Ham face an awkward test against Sheffield United who beat Aston Villa 3-1 in the third round.
