Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli joined forces with British BMX star Tre Whyte to show off his skills on a bike as part of a campaign to help youngsters get involved in sport.

The 20-year-old visited Access Sport Peckham BMX Club recently to try his hand at activities “out of his comfort zone” along with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill, which was set up by the England Footballers' Foundation and BT Sport's charity, The Supporters Club.

The campaign aims to encourage youngsters to take part in more sporting activities over the summer, and tasked Alli with the tricky aim of trying to ride a BMX bike under a limbo bar.

But despite the challenge facing him, the Spurs star avoided a potentially embarrassing attempt - putting in a good performance.

Alli, who was recently called up to Roy Hodgson’s provisional England team for this summer’s European Championships, was also shown how to fix a damaged BMX bicycle.

Meanwhile, Alli’s England teammate Cahill donned vision-impairing glasses to play blind cricket with England star Hassan Khan.
