Mauricio Pochettino crying: Tottenham boss in tears as Lucas Moura hat-trick seals Champions League Final spot

Mauricio Pochettino was reduced to tears as his Tottenham side pulled of an incredible comeback to beat Ajax and reach the Champions League final.

Trailing 1-0 from the first leg in London, Spurs looked to have a mountain to climb after first half goals from Ajax captain Matthias De Ligt and forward Hakim Ziyech made it 3-0 on aggregate.

However, a second half hat-trick from Lucas Moura, which was completed with a low effort deep into stoppage time, sent Spurs through to the final on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw.

Pochettino, who had hinted before the game that he might consider leaving the club if he managed to win the Champions League this season, was overwhelmed when the crucial goal went in, and was then in tears as he embraced his players on the pitch after the full-time whistle.

Spurs will now face Liverpool in an all-English final in Madrid on Saturday 1 June.
