Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo is being lined up for a £2million move from Sunderland to Italian Serie A club Siena.

Sunderland are struggling to pay an annual wage bill of around £25m following relegation from the Premiership and the Norwegian striker is one of their highest earners on £20,000 a week.

Flo, 30, who cost Sunderland £6.75m from Rangers only last summer, has already turned down Turkish sides Galatasaray and Besiktas.
