If anyone can stop Novak Djokovic from winning a fifth consecutive Grand Slam when Wimbledon begins next week, then it is Andy Murray.

The British No1, who is 11-4 with BetVictor, has a losing record against Djokovic on every surface other than grass - he leads the Serbian 2–0 after defeating him in the Olympics semi-final in 2012 and the Wimbledon final a year later.

Murray’s reunion with coach Ivan Lendl gives him another reason to be hopeful. He has not won a Grand Slam since parting ways with Lendl in 2014 after a two-year period during which he won Olympic gold, the US Open and Wimbledon. The Scot is also in top form after claiming a historic fifth Queen’s title.

Djokovic, who is 8-11 to secure his third consecutive Wimbledon crown, is bidding to become the first man since Rod Laver in 1969 to hold all four Grand Slam titles from the same year.

The 29-year-old has already bagged the French and Australian titles this year and should he prevail at Wimbledon and the US Open, he would secure a calendar-year Grand Slam.

Further down the market, Milos Raonic, who Murray beat in the final at Queen’s, is 12-1, while Roger Federer can be backed at 10s.

In the women’s section, Serena Williams is BetVictor’s 13-8 favourite to secure what would be her seventh Wimbledon singles title.

Just like last year, her main challenge could come from Garbine Muguruza, who is 13-2. Williams beat the Spaniard in straight sets in the final at SW19 – with Muguruza turning the tables at the French Open earlier this month by defeating the American.
