Taylor Swift and Katy Perry proved that their feud is very much over as they embraced in the colourful new video for You Need to Calm Down.

The video for Swift’s second single from her forthcoming album Lover sees the singer joined by an array of famous friends as they face down anti-LGBTQ+ protesters.

Swift’s pals then start a food fight and are joined by Perry, who is dressed as a burger.

The singer appears surprised and then happy to see Swift, who wears a complementary costume, dressed up as a portion of French fries.

The stars of Queer Eye, RuPaul, Ellen DeGeneres and Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox are among the famous faces to appear in You Need to Calm Down.

Last week, the musicians appeared to publicly end their disagreement when Perry shared an Instagram photo of a plate of cookies iced with the phrase “Peace at last,” tagging Swift in the post.

“Feels good @taylorswift,” she wrote alongside the image, which had “Let’s Be Friends” set as its location tag.

The pair are thought to have fallen out in 2012 when it was reported that Perry had “stolen” three of Swift’s backing dancers from her Red tour.

Swift’s 2014 hit Bad Blood was thought to be directed at the singer, who later appeared to hit back with a diss track of her own, Swish Swish.

You Need to Calm Down is streaming now. Swift’s seventh studio album Lover is released on August 23.
