Rochelle Humes strips off for naked shoot as she opens up on newfound body confidence

Rochelle Humes has posed naked for Women's Health five years after having “nightmares” about leaving the house with no clothes on.

The TV presenter, 30, will feature on the September issue of the magazine, which is titled “The Naked Issue”.

Unveiling the cover on her Instagram page at the weekend, Humes – who is married to presenter Marvin, 34, - said she now feels more comfortable in her own skin after she had two children.

She said: “When Women’s Health first asked me five years ago would I do 'The Naked Issue' it was a resounding NO, and it was a NO forever. I used to have nightmares about leaving the house with no clothes on.

“Well a lot can happen in five years and life comes at you pretty fast. I'm a mother of two little women now, I'm 30 years old and it finally happened, I accepted myself, and my body, my hair, my scars, and my bumps and my bits on one side that doesn’t look the same as the other and I bit the bullet.”

Humes – who has daughters, Alaia-Mai, six, and Valentina Raine, two, with Marvin - added: “This is a love letter to my younger self, my older self, my two girls who are going to battle with their idea of perfect, my mum, my sisters, my aunties and every woman who looks in the mirror and doesn't love what they see.”

She is also an ambassador for Project Body Love, a campaign launched by Women's Health UK and its publisher, Hearst, to change the way women feel and speak about their bodies.

She thanked the magazine "for asking me again, not taking no for an answer and not retouching me".

Humes and her husband celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary at the end of July.

She was previously part of girl band The Saturdays, while he was a former member of boy band JLS.

The September issue of Women's Health UK, featuring Rochelle Humes, is on sale from August 6.
