Melanie Brown has posted a snap from a rather unexpected Spice Girls reunion – at her hospital bed.

But she appeared in good spirits after her fellow Spice Girls Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner rushed to keep her company at her bedside.

She posted a video alongside the caption: “When your besties show up to hospital with hugs laughter and A LOT of love.

“Ahhhh I love my spice girls yipppeee #friendship #family #spicegirls.”

Fans sent well wishes to Mel B and praised the closeness of the foursome.

One wrote: “You are my heroes. It’s very important to be there when somebody who loves you is sick. You are a lucky girl @officialmelb.”

Another said: “That’s girl power! Get well soon.”

A third added: “Awhhh you have the best friends ever!!”

The singer and America’s Got Talent judge revealed that she had been hurt and “operated on for three hours” earlier on Monday when she posted a picture of herself outside a London hospital with her arm in a sling.

She wrote: “Thank you to all the wonderful nurses Dr’s and my amazing surgeon for the care and expertise given to me here at the hospital I’ve been staying at, suffering 2 broken ribs a severed right hand needing emergency care,to having had to have over a 3 hr surgery to repair the damage hence the purple sling.”

Brown apologised to her New York fans, saying she is “absolutely gutted” to be cancelling her book signing in the Big Apple, but promised to reschedule the.

It is unclear how Brown sustained her injuries. Standard Online has contacted representatives for Brown for comment.
