Spice Girls tour 2019: Holly Willoughby wishes 'incredible' Emma Bunton luck as she shows off merchandise

Holly Willoughby has wished close friend Emma Bunton good luck ahead of the Spice Girls reunion tour.

The This Morning presenter shared a sweet tribute to her pal on Instagram, showing her support for the band in a pink Spiceworld hoodie.

Smiling at the camera and posing with her hands in a peace sign, Willoughby showed off the group’s brand new merch as she praised her “incredible” friend.

“Today’s the day!!!!” she wrote in her caption. “Dublin you lucky lot… look after Baby for us…”

The presenter and the singer are firm friends and often share photos of their nights out and get-togethers on social media, as well as posting in support of each other’s work ventures.

Earlier today, Bunton revealed that former bandmate Victoria Beckham had sent her a “lovely” message before the band kick off their tour at Dublin’s Croke Park.

Speaking on Heart Breakfast, she told presenters Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin that she “really hopes” Beckham “comes along” to one of the band’s gigs.

“Actually she’s emailed me this morning so it’s lovely, I really hope so,” she said.

The 43-year-old said that she has “butterflies in [her] tummy” ahead of tonight’s show, adding: “And do you know what else I found out today that made me even more nervous, we’re the first ever girl band to play Croke Park!”

She described the tour as “very nostalgic” and said that the group would be “sticking to those Spice Girls songs that everyone loves.”

“It’s like we’re mucking around, we’re having fun up there, you know, it feels like the old days,” she added.

The Spice Girls tour begins tonight in Dublin and will include dates in Cardiff, Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Bristol before concluding with three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium in June.
