Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield shared a laugh on This Morning as they watched a comedian’s parody of British daytime TV - including spot-on impressions of them.

On Thursday’s episode of the show, Willoughby and Schofield played the parody, by 19-year-old comedian and YouTube star Chi with a C, which has been viewed more than 600,000 views on Twitter.

The clip opens with a light-hearted skit of Willoughby and Schofield, in which she pokes fun at the presenting pair’s frequent laughing fits.

As Holly, she says: “And at 12 Gino D’Acampo will be showing us exactly how he tosses his salad,” before breaking down in very Holly-esque giggles, saying: “Phil, stop it!"

To top it off, Chi-as-Holly loses her balance and falls over.

“It does happen quite frequently,” Willoughby laughed. “I apologise! Well done, very good!”

“We love to laugh at ourselves,” said Schofield. “We are impressed.”

Chi with a C’s viral clip also takes aim at the show's incredibly varied daily offerings, with an interview with “Britain’s youngest old person,” and Rylan Clark-Neal's showbiz segment.

Gino D'Acampo isn't spared either, as Chi does an impression of him cooking and says his infamous line: "If my grandmother had wheels, she would have been a bike."

Another segment sees Chi play Lorraine Kelly, who interviews herself in a hilarious nod to the presenter's "theatrical persona".

She also parodies Loose Women with a panel discussion about the merits of multi-pack crisps.
