Brentwood is a countryside town in Essex, about 20 miles from central London. It is popular with commuters and Londoners seeking a rural location close to the capital with good transport links, schools, shops and services. The M25, M11 and A12 motorways are all close, and trains to London Liverpool Street take just over half an hour. Brentwood is also set to benefit from Crossrail, the new cross-London rail route due to be completed by 2018, with Shenfield, the town’s northern suburb, selected as the eastern terminus.
