The Cedars is situated in the village of Whitchurch which is midway between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth on the borders of England and Wales. Whitchurch is approximately 16 miles away from the Cathedral city of Hereford which has a good range of shops and services whilst Monmouth also has good shopping including Waitrose and Marks & Spencer, as well as the popular Haberdashers School for boys and girls.

Communications in the area are very good with the A40 providing fast access to the M50 at Ross-on-Wye and the M4 at Newport. There are railway stations with intercity rail links at Hereford, Newport and Bristol Parkway; and there are international airports at Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff.

This area has a selection of recreational opportunities which include a golf course at Ross-on-Wye, racecourses at Chepstow, Hereford, Worcester and Cheltenham; and there are glorious walks and rides through the surrounding countryside.

The Cedars is a large attached family residence which dates back to approximately the mid 1800s. The property has a selection of period features including some flagstone and wood flooring and a selection of Victorian style fireplaces, alongside more modern necessities such as en suite shower rooms and most of the windows are double glazed. The main appeal of The Cedars is its very flexible accommodation which would be suitable for a variety of uses such as a guest house, nursing home, Bed & Breakfast, for two families living together or to let out part of the property to provide additional income. The accommodation could be divided to create a 7 bedroom house with a 1 bedroom annexe or a 5 bedroom house with a 3 bedroom annexe. Alternatively the house could be used as a whole to provide very comfortable family accommodation.

The gardens lie principally to the west of the house beyond the large brick paved parking area.
