The accommodation comprises (all on the Ground Floor) a bed sitting room, kitchen with dining area, bathroom with WC. Access is via a central hallway. Residents of the House are required to contribute towards the expenses of maintaining the House. The current weekly contribution for the Unit is £47, including water and drainage charges. Occupants are responsible for payment of their own Council Tax and for utility supplies; including (gas) central heating. Internal decoration is the responsibility of the occupant. The Trustees are prepared to consider applications for grant assistance from any resident towards the cost of internal redecoration of the unit. Each such application would be judged on its merits. An area of garden at the rear of the building will be assigned to the resident of this Unit who will be expected to keep and maintain such area in a neat and tidy condition. There is no on site car parking.

The minimum age for a resident at the time of taking up occupation is 60 years. The accommodation available is only suitable for a single person.

There is a non-resident Warden who does keep an eye on the residents but is not available to provide any nursing or other care services. Residents are expected to be able to look after themselves and will be required to provide a medical certificate from their own GP confirming that in the GP's opinion the resident is able to look after him/ herself and not suffering from any disability which might require special attention.
