London Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2013: call for entries

The London Evening Standard invites housebuilders to enter our annual New Homes Awards

The London Evening Standard New Homes Awards, now in their 22nd year, celebrate the skills of the new homes industry.

We are now seeking entries from builders for these coveted awards for 2013. The awards are divided into ten main categories, reflecting the excitement of the region’s housing market and the diverse range of homes available in the London Evening Standard catchment area.

Some categories are for individual homes and others for developments, both large and small. All categories are open to housebuilders and developers of any size, but in some, the larger and smaller companies will be judged separately to give everyone an equal chance.

The closing date for entries is February 1, 2013.

The awards are divided into ten main categories:
(1) Best First-Time Buy
(2) Best Apartment
(3) Best Family Home
(4) Best Luxury Home
(5) Best Conversion
(6) The Eco-Living Award
(7) Best Regeneration Project
(8) Best Development in the Affordable Homes Sector
(9) Best Small Development
(10) Best Large Development

Grand Prix Award


The prestigious Grand Prix Award goes to the individual home or development that is considered to be the most outstanding entry in this year's awards. All category winners are automatically considered for this accolade, with the winner decided by London Evening Standard readers and an expert judging panel.

The awards will be presented at a glittering lunch at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Friday May 17, 2013.
