Gordon Ramsey opens his home for Christmas

Gordon Ramsay is opening his home to celebrities on Christmas Day. The X Factor’s Rylan Clark is among those asked to take part in the chef’s Christmas Cookalong, being aired live on Channel 4. The stars will help to prepare a three-course feast with turkey, pork, goose fat potatoes and ice cream snowball pudding.

The seven-bedroom Wandsworth property, which Gordon and wife Tana converted from four flats they bought at auction in 2002, is regularly visited by A-list friends including the Beckhams. Cameras will have access to the super-swish kitchen with its £67,000 Rorgue cooker.

Ecclestone's girls own the most expensive homes in America

Tamara Ecclestone adores her £45 million Kensington Palace Gardens home but she has the perfect festive escape if she fancies somewhere hot. The daughter of billionaire Formula One boss Bernie has reportedly just bought the huge Fleur de Lys estate in Beverly Hills.

Modelled on the Palace of Versailles, the £78 million property is the second most expensive home in America. Her little sister Petra owns the priciest — The Manor, with 123 rooms, just down the road.

As well as its 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, Tamara’s place comes with a 50-seat, satin-lined private cinema, a wood-panelled library and a gym. The ballroom, based on Louis XIV’s Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, could host the most flamboyant of New Year’s Eve parties.

Stacey's home lights up for Christmas

Reality TV star Stacey Solomon became known for her grounded persona when she won I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! However, when it comes to Christmas decor, the former X Factor contestant aims high.

The singer has set her sights on dressing the outside of her Essex home Harrods-style, with lights outlining the front, and has kitted out the inside of the detached, four-bedroom house in white, silver and gold, in a makeover that started last month. Mother-of- two Stacey, 23, who is fronting Fox’s Puddings’ Christmas Jumper Day on Friday, even has knitwear that lights up to the tune of Jingle Bells.

She explains her passion, saying: “I am having my whole family round and it is the first Christmas for my seven-month-old Leighton. I will give everyone dinner, then we will play a board game, have some Christmas pudding and fall asleep in front of the TV.”

Let's hope that Naomi Cleaver's guests aren't allergic to pollen

Designer and TV presenter Naomi Cleaver has given her house a “wild” Christmas look. The Grand Designs interiors guru is spending the festive period at her Francis Pollen built modernist home in Devon with her husband Oliver, her father, who is a Chelsea Pensioner, and friends.

Her decorations always come from the great outdoors as the resourceful RIBA Stirling Prize judge fills the house with what she finds in nearby woodland.

“I will be sending everyone out on Christmas morning for a traditional treasure hunt while I prepare the dinner,” she says. Her husband has raised Oxford Sandy Black pigs, known as “plum pudding pigs”, so she will be cooking roast pork along with turkey or goose.

Living amid nature is a novelty to the Britain’s Best Home star, who swapped central London for the Sixties bungalow last year, following a string of savvy property deals. She bought a Shoreditch loft apartment in 1996 for £240,000 which sold for £870,000 in 2001, then bought a Clerkenwell house with her husband, which the couple sold in May 2007 for £1.6 million. Smart moves.
