Plenty of room for designer clothes at Stella's old place

Stella McCartney’s former Notting Hill home is under offer, with an asking price of £2.5 million.

The designer, who got rave reviews for her Paris Fashion Week show last week, is said to have bought the Westbourne Park Road townhouse in the Nineties for £695,000.

The big draw of the four-storey home is the loft-like master suite and open-plan bathroom over the entire top floor.

The daughter of Paul and Linda McCartney now lives in a bigger family home in the same area with husband Alasdhair Willis and their four young children.

Eco-friendly Ojai estate for Blunt

British star Emily Blunt and her American actor husband John Krasinski have moved into an eco-friendly estate in the peaceful Ojai area of California.

The four-bedroom house offers the kind of privacy that appeals to the couple. It comes with a separate guest wing, pool and spa. Roehampton-born Blunt’s parents live in Britain, so the actress, whose new film is sci-fi thriller Looper, is sure to enjoy plenty of family visits.

The savvy stars recently sold one of their two homes in West Hollywood for £545,000.

Jeremy's garden flat will be a high-style item

Jeremy Langmead is selling his sophisticated Primrose Hill apartment. The Mr Porter editor-in-chief has put his two-bedroom garden flat on pastel-pretty Chalcot Square on the market for £1 million (homesandproperty.co.uk/chalcot). As the former editor of Wallpaper and Esquire, Langmead has put a stylish stamp on the flat, which is just a short stroll away from the restaurants and boutiques of Regent’s Park Road.

With locals including celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, model Agyness Deyn and singer Gwen Stefani, whoever snaps it up will be in starry company.

£8.95m: five-bedroom Georgian house in Curzon Street

Double blue plaque home has prestige value

A double blue plaque home, one of the capital’s most prestigious properties, is for sale. Once owned by the 18th-century original dandy, Beau Brummell, the Mayfair building was later home to Suez-crisis prime minister Anthony Eden.

The five-bedroom Georgian house is just off Curzon Street. With six floors and three private terraces, it is a family dream home. If you have £8.95 million to spare and the idea of a historical gem appeals, visit homesandproperty.co.uk/blueplaque.
