Buy Kylie’s old Hollywood home as Superman’s Dan departs

A Hollywood home that has belonged to a string of A-list stars is for sale.

Past owners of the “Normandy-style” residence include Kylie Minogue and Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics.

Top Tinseltown screenwriter Dan Harris, whose action movies include X2 and Superman Returns, is the current occupant of the three-bedroom house with pool and waterfall. He bought it in 2005 for £1.3 million but is now moving on, selling for £1.5 million.

As well as cool city views, the relaxing pad comes with a library and a spa complex.

I wonder who’ll be the next celebrity to pick up its keys?

The London-born, Paris-raised actress, who played gorgeous Kara Milovy in The Living Daylights alongside Timothy Dalton, was a big fan of the three-bedroom property, now on the market for £800,000 with Haus Properties (020 7751 0400; hausproperties.co.uk).

Set in sought-after Munster Village, the cosy terrace house has a modern kitchen and charming garden.

Meanwhile, d’Abo is still making movies. Her latest is a short film called Madame Ida, with Noises Off star Celia Imrie. Ever glamorous, she is also signed to Models 1.

Team GB’s Tina puts a beauty spot up for sale

Olympic equestrian Tina Cook is selling a picturesque building plot inside the South Downs National Park.

The daughter of the late top racehorse trainer Josh Gifford, Cook, who is part of the British eventing team with Zara Phillips and William Fox-Pitt, has put the land on the market for £850,000.

Next to the well-known Gifford Equestrian Centre, where Bob Champion’s Grand National-winning racehorse Aldaniti was trained, there is planning permission for a two-storey house with a separate holiday cottage in the grounds.

Whoever buys the land will have Cook as a neighbour. She tells me: “I grew up here. The views are stunning and the hills are a joy to ride or walk through. There are endless bridle paths so it’s a dream for any equestrians.” Call 01403 246790 or visit struttandparker.com.

Love thy royal neighbour

Fancy moving in next door to Buckingham Palace? Two properties across the street have come on to the rental market.

The one- and two-bedroom apartments are linked to the nearby Rubens Hotel, offering five-star facilities and a daily maid service.

The furnished luxury pads come with private terraces and have St James’s Park and Green Park on their doorstep.

But be prepared to splash out £1,000 a week for the smaller flat and £1,600 a week for the larger one (020 7828 4050; jackson-stops.co.uk).
