The London Restaurant Festival (LRF), now in its fourth year, is in full swing as hundreds of eateries across the capital take part in a city-wide celebration of food, wine and eating out. Until October 15, there are plenty of events and special menus on offer to not only tempt your tastebuds but to entice you to discover some of London's little known culinary corners.

Gourmet Odyssey Tours

The Gourmet Odyssey tours, London's most original gastronomic road trip, are themed this year. On Saturday 13 October, the New Restaurants tour takes in three of the city's most exciting new venues making their mark on the restaurant scene - including Banca, Brasserie Zedel and the Novikov Asian Room. Where you enjoy each course will be revealed on the day.

Tapas Tour: 13 & 14 October

Keeping to the theme of restaurant hopping, the festival's Tapas Tour takes in some of London's most popular Spanish restaurants. Armed with a festival "tapas passport", foodies can embark on a restaurant crawl and sample a tapa and a glass of wine at Iberica in Great Portland Street, Barrica in Goodge Street, PIX in Bateman Street, Fernandez & Wells in Lexington Street, Brindisa Soho in Broadwick Street and Copita in D'Arblay Street.

The festival is a city-wide celebration (until October 15)

Graze: until 14 October

Many of the capital's tucked away "villages" are quickly becoming foodie meccas. For the first time this year, the festival has launched Graze - a series of events designed to highlight the staggering choice of quality restaurants on the doorstep of some of London's exciting neighbourhoods, such as Exmouth Market, Bermondsey Street, Marylebone High Street, Charlotte Street, Brixton Village and of course, the buzzing streets of Soho.

When you buy a ticket you'll receive a LRF keyring to claim a glass of wine, beer or a cocktail when you purchase a small plate or main course in any of the participating restaurants.
