The Brompton Design District in South Kensington is a one-stop hub of design shops, showrooms, exhibition spaces and museums on and around London's Brompton Road. Established names include B&B Italia, Bisazza, Mint, The Conran Shop, Skandium, the Royal College of Art, Serpentine Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

On Thursday 29 November, this design district is hosting a late-night Christmas shopping evening until 8pm. All shops will be getting into the festive spirit by serving wine, hot cider and nibbles while the neighbourhood's Christmas lights illuminate the shopping street.

The Conran Shop will be offering complimentary manicures to weary shoppers as well as hosting a pop-up vodka bar. Homes & Property and Evening Standard readers can also save 15 per cent on purchases when shopping online at conranshop.co.uk, or at the Chelsea and Marylebone stores until 30 November. For more details, visit standard.co.uk/conran.

Design and furniture specialists Skandium will offer a 15 per cent discount across the popular Iittala range, get 20 per cent off everything at Donna Ida and stop for a festive feast at Cassis Bistro.
